Hello everyone!
  My band Bonnie and the Beard has finished recording our debut studio album, which is something I've been hoping for ever since we started playing together.
You are receiving this email because frankly, we need your help. We recorded with funds out of pocket, yet need additional funding in order to get the record professionally mastered. Once we do this, we will be able to apply for many more festivals/etc., in addition to being able to look at touring and moving towards our future.
  Bonnie and the Beard released a live EP (Live at the Walnut Room) in May of this year. Those five tracks can be listened to on our MySpace (although they were recorded before we hired our drummer.) You can also watch several YouTube performances from one of our shows in October ( "Mona" and "Voodoo Queen" ) if you'd like to get a feel for what we've been doing.
We have been playing quite a lot this year at most of the venues in Denver (Meadowlark, Walnut Room, 3 Kings Tavern, Larimer Lounge, Hi-Dive, etc.) and have been getting some great feedback for our live shows, which has inspired us to work even harder to take this project to the next level.
  We're raising money through Kickstarter, an awesome website that helps artists reach creative goals. We've compiled a list of things that we'd like to do for people at different donation price points-- just note that at each price point the rewards accumulate from the points below as well. However, Kickstarter is unique in the sense that it's an all or nothing deal-- if we don't meet our goal, no one gets charged. All of the credit card information is run through Amazon, so it is very secure
